Quantel customers rely on freelance creative talent every day in broadcast and post. Compass Worldwide allows freelancers to learn and stay current on the latest Quantel equipment. Equally importantly it provides accreditation so that customers know they are getting the right quality of staff and promotion allowing customers to easily contact accredited freelancers.

Designed for the freelancer and self teaching community, anyone can learn how to use Quantel equipment by means of the free Quantel Compass Training software. By completing a series of modules, freelancers move on up through the accreditation levels.

Upon completion you are eligible to be included on the Compass Worldwide Register as a competent and qualified Quantel Operator. This enables you to get first in line for those lucrative jobs in the post and broadcast companies around the world who use Quantel generationQ systems.

Compass Worldwide is a staged training programme to take freelance Post, DI and Broadcast operators (editors, effects editors, compositors and colourists) through the operation of Quantel equipment to a level where they are proficient enough to find work in facilities that have Quantel equipment. Quantel will also accredit freelancers who have reached recognised levels of product knowledge and ability.

Step 1 - Register for the Compass Worldwide Programme.
Step 2 - Receive 30-day free license for Compass training software
Step 3 - Use web-based video tutorials and support for self-paced learning.
Step 4 - Take web-based assessment to become an ‘Accredited Associate’.
Step 5 - Extended Compass training license and world-wide training/assessment days.
Step 6 - World-wide training/assessment sessions to become an 'Accredited Creative'.
Step 7 - Freelancer details published in the Compass Worldwide Register.
